JRQ is hiring for the year 2012-2013! The following positions are available:
Art/Technology Director
Design JRQ clothing, create posters and tickets for events
Maintain JRQ blog, update banners and information boards
Have thorough knowledge and experience with blog design, Photoshop, HTML
Basic knowledge in audio-visual equipment for events
Cultural Director
Organize conversation classes (be in contact with Japanese classes and School of English students)
Responsible for cultural games during events
Knowledge of Japanese culture
External Relations Officer
Keep up to date with similar clubs, know when they are having events
Be a liaison between the clubs and coordinate potential joint events
Responsible for communicating to JRQ members about upcoming events and update through email, etc.
Logistics
Booking event and weekly meeting locations
Maintain communication with QUIC
Promotional Director
Create Facebook pages for upcoming events
Print and put up posters around campus
Create ideas for promoting the club
* Please note: You do NOT need all of the requirements listed above. All we ask is that you are motivated and enthusiastic about learning new skills!
** However, the Art/Technology Director MUST have some knowledge of coding and Photoshop.
Applications are due Friday, March 23 and interviews will be held Monday, March 26 through Wednesday, March 28.
